About this role
Description
We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-organizational programs that deliver transformative results for our customers. This role demands a leader who takes full ownership of ambiguous, high-impact initiatives from inception through delivery, drives decisions with urgency even when the path forward is unclear, and has the conviction to challenge assumptions and advocate for the right outcomes regardless of organizational pressure. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, influencing senior leadership, aligning competing priorities, and holding teams accountable to deliver results that matter. This is not a role for someone who waits for consensus or permission. You will define the vision, set the pace, and remove barriers with speed and decisiveness.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
You will own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering teams and business units. You define program strategy, establish success criteria, and hold yourself and others accountable for outcomes, not just activities.
You will identify risks and blockers early and act immediately to resolve them, escalating with data and proposed solutions rather than waiting for direction. When trade-offs are required, you make the call, communicate the rationale, and move forward.
You will challenge proposals, timelines, and technical approaches when you believe they are wrong, even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular. You bring data, earn trust through your judgment, and once a decision is made, you commit fully and drive execution without hesitation.
You will build mechanisms that create transparency, accelerate decision-making, and prevent recurring failures. You do not accept "that's how we've always done it" as a reason to maintain the status quo.
You will influence VP-level stakeholders and partner teams without formal authority, earning credibility through your depth of understanding, clarity of communication, and track record of delivering results.
You will define and drive operational excellence across your programs, establishing metrics, review cadences, and escalation paths that ensure sustained delivery velocity.
