You’ll partner with business owners and control managers to deliver clear, compliant, and user-friendly procedures that support our clients and teams. As an Associate Project Manager – Senior Procedure Editor in the Commercial Bank Procedures Team, you play a key role in managing and enhancing our online procedure libraries. You will ensure our documentation is accurate, consistent, and compliant, while fostering strong partnerships with business stakeholders. Your work will help drive operational excellence and support regulatory requirements across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize a dynamic queue of business-as-usual (BAU) change requests, ensuring timely and high-quality updates to published documents.
- Lead the annual attestation and review process for assigned documents, coordinating stakeholder collaboration and maintaining audit readiness.
- Apply established templates and style guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity across all documentation.
- Convert procedures to active voice, incorporate numbered lists and if-then tables, and optimize documents for searchability.
- Analyze and recommend procedural changes, identify process gaps, and suggest improvements.
- Secure approvals and finalize documents for publication, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and peer reviews to support risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Support document posting and update generation using publishing and document management systems.
- Facilitate clear and timely communications regarding procedural changes, including drafting communications and preparing presentations.
- Organize and lead monthly meetings with business partners and control managers to discuss trends, metrics, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the creation and expansion of new document libraries, ensuring robust organization and accessibility.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5+ years of procedure writing/editing experience, including reformatting detailed procedural documents.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in financial services and procedure writing/editing.
- Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing annual review schedules and managing multiple projects.
- Proven client relations and presentation skills, including facilitating meetings and supporting procedural communications.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services operations, regulatory, and compliance environments.
- Advanced editing skills, including converting procedures to active voice, using numbered lists and if-then tables, and applying external style guides.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), SharePoint, and publishing/document management systems.

- Experience conducting quality assurance checks, peer reviews, and compliance checklists.
- Ability to analyze, recommend, and document procedures, identify process gaps, and suggest alternative documentation methods.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to work with diverse, global teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Positive team player with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency.
- LLM proficiency.
