About this role

Meta is seeking a Procurement Operations professional to manage the Procure-to-pay process, engaging with stakeholders and building strategic relationships. This role delivers thorough, accurate responses to inquiries and exceptions through our case management system, while driving automation and continuous improvement across procurement operations. Requires experience in solving operational problems, applying business judgment, and delivering responsive, high-quality service to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full P2P lifecycle — identify bottlenecks and drive issues to resolution
  • Research, coordinate, and respond to inquiries regarding purchase orders and alignment to related contracts
  • Provide clear guidance to stakeholders and suppliers on procurement tools and processes. Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, compliance, and best practices
  • Optimize the buying journey through standardization, automation, and scalable process design
  • Leverage AI tools and data-driven insights to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and proactively surface trends and anomalies
  • Partner with technology teams to test and optimize AI-powered solutions for procurement operations
  • Develop strategies to improve S2P efficiency and scalability across global operations
  • Represent the S2P organization in cross-functional initiatives
  • Lead or support change management efforts related to process and technology transformations
  • Analyze data to identify pain-points, exceptions, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports to track S2P performance
  • Articulate a narrative of what data and trends are indicating
  • Create and maintain training materials, and knowledge-base content
  • Support audit research and analysis; assist with special projects as assigned
  • Stay current with industry trends in procurement, automation, and emerging technologies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated an understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay processes
  • Strong communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail; comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proficiency with productivity and data tools (Excel, Google Sheets, data visualization)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and procurement platforms
  • Familiarity with case management/ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Change management experience related to technology transformations
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Analytics experience with the ability to derive insights from large datasets
  • Experience with automation tools, AI applications, or generative AI in a procurement/finance context
  • Experience with workflow automation, bot development, or process digitization
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodology experience
  • BA/BS in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management is preferred
  • Experience working with software engineering for building requirements and user acceptance testing

Compensation

  • $139,000/year - $196,000/year; Country: US; Bonus eligible; Equity eligible
