About this role

HilltopSecurities is looking to hire a Product Analyst. The Product Analyst will play a key role in the strategy and design of various Hilltop supported applications. The Product Analyst will work to constantly improve through data-driven analysis and by conceptualizing, defining and ensuring the quality of new features.

Responsibilities

  • Support day to day product issues by researching and resolving application issues
  • Prioritize and implement problem resolution procedures and keep updates and status of open issues through Service Center
  • Suggest and champion system improvements and any potential industry requirements
  • Support upgrades, projects and test requests
  • Serve as a liaison with end users, various departments and outside vendors, participate/coordinate in testing activities as needed
  • Facilitate the communication by which information is distributed within the teams
  • Coordinate meetings / user groups
  • Function independently 

     

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience supporting financial products
  • Experience working in the financial industry
  • Knowledge of SQL and programming languages is required
  • Requires advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of business case preparation
  • Position requires strong project management, communication, technical writing, data modeling and analytical skills
