About the Opportunity

The Product Business Management Internship provides a hands-on opportunity to support the effective alignment of supply and demand for Driscoll’s fresh berry business. In this role, the intern will collaborate with internal teams, customers, and growers to help ensure that strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries are brought to market efficiently and profitably.

The intern will actively contribute to daily business operations by coordinating with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Grower partners. Responsibilities may include business performance scorecarding, reporting, data analysis, and supporting the development and rollout of new processes or platforms. This work helps ensure optimal service to our customers while supporting strong business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Business Managers with weekly supply and demand alignment.
  • Collect and report daily and weekly commodity pricing to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce scorecards, reports, and analyses related to sales pricing and volume.
  • Assist with process and reporting updates connected to the newly implemented user platform.
  • Utilize Tableau, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Anaplan for reporting and analysis.
  • Communicate cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams.
  • Capture meeting notes and summarize next steps for internal projects.
  • Complete and present a capstone project related to the berry business.
  • Job shadow across departments to gain broader business understanding.
  • Represent Driscoll’s professionally in all interactions with growers, colleagues, and customers.

Candidate Profile

***IMPORTANT***

  • This is an on‑site, three to six month internship based in Watsonville, CA, ideally running from April to August.
  • A housing stipend is available for this internship.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions, formulas, data manipulation, and basic modeling)
  • Experience with Tableau for data visualization, dashboard creation, and performance reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear, compelling presentations that communicate data-driven insights.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making
  • Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • High observation skills and attentiveness to detail.

Preferred (other) Qualifications

  • Ability to make sound recommendations in a fast-paced environment; works well independently and in teams.
  • Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams towards reaching common goals.
  • California driver’s license.
