Eataly is seeking a Product Intern for Summer 2026 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Product & Grocery Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian!
Under the supervision of the Product Team, the intern will:
- Perform data set cleaning to ensure accuracy and completeness, including D365-related checks.
- Ensure proper date formats and regional specifications are maintained across all datasets.
- Verify and update label specifications, including Organic, IGP, Kosher, and Non-GMO certifications.
- Update and refine the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Guide to align with current standards and best practices.
- Manage and maintain data integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
- Support the buying team with order entry, vendor communication, and purchasing system updates.
- Collaborate with category managers and buyers to troubleshoot pricing, item IDs, and order discrepancies.
- Maintain and update order records, trade agreements, and purchasing data within internal systems.
- Create data-driven reports to analyze product performance, usage trends, and vendor fill rates.
- Create and update the Winter Catalogue and the ICE Catalogue.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
This internship runs from June – August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from approximately 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) and PowerPoint
- Ability to conduct market research and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Interest in food and retail industry trends.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
