If you are an Engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Houston, TX location, as a Product Management Intern you will apply your technical background to identify and address business needs while managing a product’s life cycle to ensure revenue, profitability, quality, and customer loyalty goals. This position will work cross-functionally with our product design teams, business leaders, world area marketing, and business development leaders to achieve business goals.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive business growth and act as a subject matter expert for assigned products and product lines.
  • Develop expertise with sales channels, customer care, and operations, and create tools and training to support sales teams.
  • Assist with product launches, evaluate sales channel readiness, and collaborate on pricing and discount strategies.
  • Capture market intelligence on industry trends, competition, and customer needs.
  • Host customer visits and work closely with world area sales management to strengthen relationships.
  • Lead preliminary work to define and develop a productized integrated SWAS solution, including identifying target markets, collecting VOC through research, and assessing solution options for opportunities in Domestic India and North America.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
