About the role

The Product Manager Intern will be a 3-month, hands-on, high-impact contributor, owning scoped product features and driving impactful solutions across two critical product areas for Equip. You'll report on measurable outcomes from day one, working closely with engineering, design, data, and operations stakeholders. Projects may range from improving patient care experiences to enhancing commercial and clinical operations, but all directly impact patients and their supporters. We seek a candidate who is curious, organized, action-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity and variety in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment, and ready to contribute meaningfully to our current roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Run day to day product rituals including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder updates.

  • Translate user insights, operational data, and business needs into clear requirements and prioritized user stories.

  • Partner with engineering, design, data, and operations teams to move work from concept to launch.

  • Identify friction points in existing workflows and propose data-informed improvements.

  • Communicate progress, blockers, and decisions clearly to stakeholders .

  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Internship Program:

  • Location: The program will be 100% virtual.

  • Length of program: 10-12 weeks (Summer 2026 roughly June through August).

  • Hours: 40 hours per week.

  • This is a paid internship.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-time professional experience in product, consulting, engineering, data/analytics, operations, or related fields.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data analysis to measure outcomes and inform strategic decision making.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, actionable user stories and communicate priorities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional team environments.

  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn how to develop product roadmaps, including defining user stories.

  • Demonstrated ownership of projects or initiatives from idea to execution.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
