We are committed to improving user experience on the TikTok platform by addressing issues related to advertising content and post-conversion experiences, thereby enhancing the conversion efficiency of advertising content.
Position Introduction
We are seeking a User Experience Strategy Product Intern to join our Content Governance team. As an intern, you will assist the team in defining and optimizing strategies for identifying and managing ads that impact user experience, with the goal of improving the health of the platform ecosystem and user trust.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Support: Find a more efficient balance between user experience improvement and platform revenue by setting reasonable strategies through AB tests.
- Data Insight: Identify content issue ads that impact user experience and users sensitive to such ads through data collection and tool-based analysis.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Maintain communication with engineering, Algo, data science, operations, and other teams to assist in driving the implementation and validation of user experience optimization solutions.
- Project Support: Assist in user/industry research to provide informational support for strategy iteration, and participate in organizing and updating product documentation.
- Tool development: Based on the needs of experience improvement and strategy development, sort out relevant tooling requirements and support the improvement of end-to-end process efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (major unrestricted); strong interest in internet products, user experience, or risk governance.
- Excellent logical thinking skills and foundational data analysis capabilities; ability to identify issues and propose insights from data.
- Strong learning ability, a serious and responsible work attitude, teamwork spirit, and the ability to complete assigned tasks under guidance.
- Proficiency in Chinese and English is required to collaborate with global partners, including Engineering teams based in Mandarin-speaking regions. These interactions include leading and participating in meetings that are conducted in Chinese as well as corresponding in chat or emails.
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge of advertising systems, user experience improvement, A/B Tests, or relevant internship experience.
- Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026.
