Duties
Prepares work orders based on manufacturing schedules developed to meet customer requirements for production, research and development, commercial and support mission items.,Compiles work to be accomplished by contract in coordination with the planning and procurement organizations.,Schedules workload into shops and support areas for assigned production items.,Reviews requirements on master schedules using a material resource planning software.,Manages multiple drawing number line items and production programs setting production and shipment schedules.,Coordinates with Contracting Officer on solutions to problems in connection with contract awards and deliveries.,Coordinates with Supply Division and the Planning Group to execute production and projects.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. GS-09 Specialized Experience: (1) Analyzing causes of production delays to develop corrective actions; (2) Monitoring production schedules to prevent scheduling conflicts, labor shortages, or skill imbalances; and (3) Utilizing automated data processing systems/equipment to prepare charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). GS-11 Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience to include: (1) Developing production plans for manufacture of products using multiple process production methods and procedures; (2) Analyzing causes of production delays to develop corrective actions; (3) Monitoring production schedules to prevent scheduling conflicts, labor shortages, or skill imbalances; and (4) Utilizing automated data processing systems/equipment to prepare charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
