The ability to multi-task while maintaining clear, positive communication (internally and externally) and adapting/contributing to this fast-growing organization, is essential in this position.
Essential Functions:
* Production Scheduling
* Team Training & employee development
* Lead production teams
* Assist in managing inventory and orders to ensure all components are ready for successful production
* Assumes personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone
* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while incorporating safety and health in all jobs and tasks
* Identify problems, coordinate and facilitate meetings with appropriate groups as required to identify and implement solutions
* Supervise and manage employees by ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, initiate disciplinary action and evaluate performance
* Conduct frequent line tours and adhere to standard work
* Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete and on time
* Communicate with managers and other supervisors about status of employees and production
* Promote team environment and facilitate cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality and productivity improvements
* Ensure all policies, procedures and activities related to Food Safety & Quality are followed and complied with to reduce product and process variability
* Performs other related duties and assigned by leadership

Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience with USDA and SQF, both preferred
* General technical knowledge and proficiency with ability to learn new systems quickly
* Experience with food safety and compliance regulators
* Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods and comfortable working in various temperature conditions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other platforms
* Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
* Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Must successfully pass a criminal background check
