Job Description
This is a Production Planning role in support of manufacturing and production operations in Kings Bay, Georgia. We are seeking a candidate that will be responsible for performing a variety of planning tasks in various buildings at SWFLANT, Kings Bay. Tasks such as the creation and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions, service/production orders and inspection instructions. Coordinate day-to-day efforts with production, engineering, and SPK organizations. Monitor and resolve material requirements planning (MRP) issues to ensure inventory balances support supply and demand requirements. Develop planning resource tools in support of operations using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint; create manufacturing/production products, such as service/production orders within the applicable computer program. Ensure processing documentation is released in support of master schedule requirements. This position is fully onsite and may require occasional off-hours support.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, production, or planning environments
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, presentation, written)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Interim Secret required prior to start.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
