Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a safety-focused Team Leader who excels in driving daily production and quality standards while fostering team development. You will coach and mentor team members, promote continuous improvement, and ensure operational readiness. Strong communication skills, a commitment to Toyota’s values, and the ability to lead with integrity in a fast-paced environment are essential. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Communicates and enforces safety standards, processes and use of personal protective equipment. 
  • Leads new and periodic team member training to ensure team versatility and current understanding of manufacturing and quality process requirements. 
  • Confirms line staffing conditions and prepares tools and equipment for daily production start-up. 
  • Communicates and confirms lineside conditions to ensure safety and quality. 
  • Conducts standardized work audits. 
  • Performs troubleshooting, and backup if applicable in case of equipment failures and adheres to following the defined escalation matrix within the allotted timeframe. 
  • Promotes continuous improvement to safety, quality, and productivity processes. 
  • Creates documentation for each process in each department. 

What you bring: 

  • Must have been in current role at TBMNC for a minimum of 1 year
  • Must have 1 year of line or floor experience
  • Must be SBA Level 2 or above
  • No active corrective actions written or above
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and proper use of protective equipment 
  • Experience leading team training to ensure versatility and quality compliance
  • Experience in confirming line staffing and preparing for daily production start-up 
  • Skill in maintaining safety and quality through effective communication 
  • Focus on continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity 
  • Experience documenting manufacturing processes 

 Added bonus if you have: 

  • Experience in troubleshooting and providing backup support during equipment failures 
  • Experience conducting workplace audits and troubleshooting equipment issues 
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments
