Position Duties
This role supports evaluation, research, and analysis that strengthen policies, processes, and performance within Highway Administration. As a Program Analyst 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Data Analysis: Review information, identify trends, create reports, and support decisions with clear findings
- Process Evaluation: Assess workflows and procedures to identify improvements and recommend changes
- System Support: Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of program and data systems
- Performance Tracking: Develop metrics, monitor progress, and prepare charts, tables, and summaries for management
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with teams across districts, counties, and Central Office to support communication and alignment
- Training Support: Create materials, assist with instruction, and help users understand systems, data, and best practices
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position may be eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
