About this role
About the Department
- Leads statewide badge project, issuing new identification badges for employees across the state. Capture badge photos and upload all applications into OnBase. Issue and manage badges for auditors, contractors, and vendors. Maintain badge printer operations and supplies. Track and report issues with cameras and badge readers. Troubleshoot badge access problems and process door access requests. Process and fulfill requests for replacement badges. Issue temporary badges as needed. Disable employee badges in the ACM access system. Generate badge and door access history reports.
- Assign parking spaces/decals and provide payment information to new employees. Issue new vehicle decals upon request. Oversee parking operations for Jefferson Square and Matthew Perry garages, including move lists and transitioning employees as spaces become available. Coordinate bagged meter requests with the City of Columbia for reserved street parking. Update the parking system and notify relevant departments to begin/stop parking charges.
- Coordinate with vendors/contractors for facilities-related and statewide DHHS needs. Assist with supply orders, inventory tracking, and related workflow processes.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Facilities Chief, including calendar coordination, correspondence management, data entry, and upkeep of operational spreadsheets and records. Contribute to special projects involving facilities operations, access systems, and administrative process improvements.
- Coordinate emergency procedures and safety protocols. Serve as the primary contact for floor monitors, overseeing assignments, communication, and clarity of responsibilities.

A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
