About this role

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, University of Chicago Medicine, as a Program Coordinator in the Pulmonary Hypertension department. This position requires you to work onsite 2 days per week. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.

 

Supports the day-to-day operations of the TOC department, programs, and services. Provides exemplary customer service to every person with a focus on creating a positive human experience, solving problems, and role modeling accountability and respect. Coordinates and manages administrative details and logistics for all learning sessions, programs, seminars, workshops, and webinars including site logistics, promotions, registration, and communications with participants and instructors/facilitators. Works collaboratively with all TOC team members and leaders through all phases of design, development, and delivery. Creates ideal experiences in person, on the telephone, and through electronic communications.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Manages the logistical and administrative work to ensure all programs run smoothly in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

  • Develop e-learning materials, administer LMS, and maintain the web page for the Talent and Organization Capability department.

  • Provide administrative support for the Director, Talent Development and the department team members.

  • Implement processes and practices to provide an ideal employee experience for all participants.

  • Maintain records for attendance, program evaluations, expenses, and vendor tracking.

  • Performs other duties as requested.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive in organizational development professional and/or learning and development, preferably in an educational, healthcare, or biomedical environment.

  • Extensive skill and practical use of software, web-based, and cloud-based applications including MS Office, Visio, MS Project, and LMS Administration.

  • Exemplary communication and customer service skills with proven experience.

  • Detailed-oriented, process-focused, and highly professional.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

 

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits.  The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.

 

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
