This position is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the outpatient program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral healthcare while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and accreditation standards. The Program Dir-Outpatient Services provides operational and clinical oversight, supervises staff, manages program performance, and promotes exceptional outcomes. Qualifications Responsibilities: Create and manage operational workflows within Clinical Services and across the facility, overseeing day to day operations within the facility Facilitate weekly clinical meeting with staff, provide case conceptualization and guidance to enhance patient outcomes and high-level clinical interventions Monitor KPIs to maintain visibility into operational outcomes of the clinical department Complete regular audits of clinical compliance documents and ensure all clinical aspects of the chart are in place Provide training and monitor competencies for clinical skill within Clinical Services Ensure clinically appropriate programming and patient interactions are in place and are being followed within the facility and across departments Meets with patients, stakeholders, and family members to resolve issues and provide direct patient care as needed Perform functions for hiring training, oversight, discipline, and education for staff competency and performance measures Participate as part of Senior Leadership to identify opportunities for improvement within the facility, leading and participating in change initiatives Provide expertise to the treatment teams to ensure quality and appropriate care is given to patients Respond appropriately to patient concerns, crisis situations, and medical or behavioral health emergencies while ensuring patient safety at all times Promote a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment focused on respect, healing, and recovery Participate in staff meetings, trainings, compliance initiatives, and ongoing professional development opportunities Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and commitment to quality patient care Ensure confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standard of care Adhere to company policies and procedures Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, HealthCare Administration, or related field Current California LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, etc. Current Basic Life Support CPR certification that includes AED training and hands-on skills assessment 5+ years: Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, substance abuse recovery, detoxification, and/or outpatient healthcare settings Experience working with patients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and relapse prevention Experience with integrative and holistic treatment approach About Universal Health Services One of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
