Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Project Management Analyst with 5+ years of experience to support our heavy truck development programs. This role will provide critical data analysis, reporting, and process improvement to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of complex engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with Program Managers and Engineering Leaders to drive efficiency in scope, schedule, budget, and quality management through actionable insights and best practices.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Document best practices, techniques, procedures, and training materials tailored for Program Managers working on heavy truck development projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Microsoft tools or Tableau that track program progress and key metrics specific to heavy truck engineering product development.
- Support Program Managers with standard and ad hoc tasks including schedule refinement, budget reconciliation, scope tracking from project inception to closure
- Analyze project data to improve scope definition, schedule adherence, budget control, and tollgate management by performing data mining, trend analysis, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Oversee and coordinate business tool upgrades and system integrations relevant to manufacturing processes and engineering workflows; research and implement industry best practices applicable to heavy truck development.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in business analytics, process improvement, records retention, and SharePoint structure management within the context of heavy manufacturing environments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, marketing, purchasing, and materials to enhance project visibility and reporting accuracy.
- Support PMO governance and quality control by maintaining up-to-date process documentation and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience required supporting project management or PMO functions, preferably with PACCAR or in automotive, heavy truck, aerospace, defense, or other manufacturing industries.
- Preferred experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools: Excel, Project, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power BI, OnePlan
- Proficiency in Tableau for developing insightful reports and dashboards.
- Six Sigma, Agile, and/or Human Centered Design (HCD) training
- Commercial truck product knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining, metric development, and trend analysis focused on engineering and manufacturing project data.
- Familiarity with heavy truck product development lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies.
- Experience with SharePoint administration and document management in regulated environments.
