The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager Advanced Development Secure Computing in Berkeley, Missouri in support of the Advanced Development Program within Air Dominance. This position requires Boeing cross-functional leadership, tasking, and oversight of the BDS enterprise elements critical to Advanced Secure Computing products for a range of customer requirements. Responsible for the coordinated and timely execution of the Secure Computing IPT.
This position is part of our Advanced Development Program Team and will be located at Berkeley Missouri with part of the team working in Pleasanton, California. A successful candidate will have experience as a Lead and partner within a highly matrixed structure, with strong relationships across multiple Organizations and Functions to successfully drive and influence program execution. Must have experience building cross-functional relationships and connecting with / advising Senior Leaders within the business. Must have experience working classified and special access programs with customers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to integrate and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of technical understanding. Strong Program Management acumen coupled with Flight Test program execution experience and knowledge of Production Operations processes / procedures are crucial success contributors.
Position Responsibilities:
- Driving Secure Computing execution in alignment with programmatic priorities and base operating procedures
- Coordinating cross-functional planning, scheduling, resourcing, and execution of Secure Computing related elements to include financial, engineering, software, supply chain, quality and test.
- Generating and presenting execution metrics / performance-to-plan predictive indicators including proactive risk mitigation and opportunity realization
- Coordinating with stakeholder counterparts
- Supporting periodic (weekly/monthly/quarterly) programmatic reviews to both Boeing Divisional Leadership and key customers.
- Travel in support of program execution to Boeing, Customer, and supplier locations (approximately 25%; 4-5 days a month)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 5 years of experience applying Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to include project planning / scheduling and applying Earned Value Management (EVM).
- More than 3 years of technical experience in complex mission systems development and integration in tactical aircraft.
- Demonstrated experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams, customers and stakeholders on projects and initiatives.
- More than 5 years of experience communicating effectively at multiple levels (direct reports, peers, executive leaders, and customers)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 10 years’ related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- More than 3 years of experience performing cost and schedule management.
- Experience in microelectronics and avionics circuit card design.
- Experience with business development activities and customer engagements with stakeholders across the Department of War/Defense.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)
