Duties

You will prepare and maintain ownership of instructions, operating policies, procedures, guidelines, and training for assigned laboratory programs.,You will design reports for tracking and control of laboratory programs and analyze trends and problems in the flow of work, offering potential resolutions and improvements.,You will serve as the laboratory's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) independently managing service and maintenance contracts and monitoring project tasks and timelines.,You will provide direction, training, assistance and oversight to lower grade laboratory personnel in inventory tracking and procurement of supplies and major equipment.,You will serve as the laboratory's subject matter expert (SME) for all administrative processes, records, training, materials and equipment procurement, IT, and facility issues.,You will network with various internal and external contacts to exchange information, consult, and develop strategies and analyze program results.,You will participate in meetings or presentations to influence managers at higher pay grades to accept and implement findings and recommendations on organizational improvements or program effectiveness.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and managing administrative and operational programs (such as financial planning, material procurement, and service contract administration) to ensure the operational readiness and efficiency of a laboratory or similarly regulated technical environment. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
