As a programmer analyst, you may work within a team or independently, working through a project Software Development Life Cycle. Applies standard programming procedures and knowledge of pertinent functional areas. Analyzes needs, designs, writes, and tests new programs and applications using solid coding skills and the ability to test and troubleshoot applications and software programs. Required programming skills may include but are not limited to: Web development - C#, jQuery, SQL, MVC, .NET, Drupal , Visual Studio; Relational Database – Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Stored Procedures; Reporting - Cognos, Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Use case testing and technical documentation skills desired.
Duties:
Participate in On-the-Job training and self-study training, using on-line and other resources.
Analyze defined requirements to create or modify code to produce desired results.
Perform routine duties such as monitoring processes already in place, creating and maintaining coding and processing documentation, and testing system changes.
Perform routine duties in a IBM Mainframe environment. Analyze JCL to maintain environment and prepare to move applications to a new environment through code writing, documentation of current, requirement writing, screen design (etc.,)
Participate in project and team meetings.
Participate in the data cleansing, conversion, and transition activities.
Participate in a blended environment with other teams and areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field including but not limited to business data programming, business systems analysis, computer accounting, computer and information systems, computer servicing technologies, information systems management, data processing, or computer engineering.
OR
An Associate's degree from an accredited college, university or business school in computer science or related field including but not limited to business data programming, business systems analysis, computer accounting, computer and information systems, computer servicing technologies, information systems management, data processing, or computer engineering and eighteen months of full-time or equivalent part-time paid computer programming experience in one or more programming or data base languages.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid computer programming experience in one or more programming or data base languages, including one year of analysis work.

PG: 18 $48,098 - $84,558
Market Rate: $75,122
*Masters Degree in computer science or related field including but not limited to business data programming, business systems analysis, computer accounting, computer and information systems, computer servicing technologies, information systems management, data processing, or computer engineering would be equivalent to 2 years of the required experience.
