Through meaningful collaboration and quality improvement initiatives, the Starzl Network is transforming care for thousands of children and families each year while providing a unique opportunity to contribute to work that has a lasting national impact.%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe Project Coordinator is responsible for various projects including plan and report development, maintenance of data and information resources supporting programs and initiatives.%3C/p%3E%3Cp style=%22text-align:center;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3EThere is required travel to an annual conference, location varies within the US.%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EResponsibilities:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in design, development, and implementation programs and initiatives.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide first level support for department programs and initiatives.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECommunicate problems or complex requests to the Management.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist in documentation of processes, standards, procedures, and policies for programs and initiatives.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDevelop and maintain documents and materials to support effective roll out of programs and initiatives.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in the documentation and submission of service requests to business unit contacts, or system vendor(s).%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist in the assignment of request priorities, and monitor and communicate the progress of the assigned requests.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist with department administrative support.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDevelops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide support, where needed, for all events and activities.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare or related field, with Two years of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions required 
    • OR one year experience in project planning and/or administrative functions with completion of UPMC Summer Associates required 
    • OR High School degree plus 5 years of administrative, project planning experience. 
  • Previous event planning experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Canva, social media and AI tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. 
  • Excellent client service skills and proven ability to deal effectively with employees required. 
  • Ability to coordinate projects, manage tasks, establish priorities make decisions, and follow issues through to resolution as directed, required. 

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
     
  • Act 31 / Act 33 / Act 34 / Act 73 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal.
