About this role
Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will support the Director of Construction Operations and Project Managers in a cross-functional role between Operations and Operations Support priorities including Pre-construction, and Project Controls. This position will report to the Director of Construction Operations and is located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Duties include:
- Construction Submittal Coordination and processing
- Preparing pre-construction submittals
- Enter and analyze data
- Generate data reports
- Subcontract and Purchase order scope-of-work review and reporting
- Project buy-out assistance, procurement of subcontractors, phone calls
- Plans and specifications review, contract documents review
- Coordinate badging and submit badge requests
- Spreadsheet development and maintenance
- Office management duties like receiving and distributing mail, ordering office supplies, running errands, printing, organizing, scheduling events, etc…
- Supporting multiple project managers and multiple projects simultaneously
- Site visits in support of pre-construction department
- Update submittal logs, RFI logs, tracking sheets, etc.
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00
The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree or some college Preferred
- 5 years of experience in similar communications and information consolidation role preferred but not required
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to work under deadline pressure, handle stress and deliver professional results.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
- Multitasker with strong organizational skill.
- Computer skills include proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Can pass a background check for authorization to enter government facilities
- Some travel in support of pre-construction site visits
