Job Description
You will be the Project Engineer Development Ground Systems - Level 4 for the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LOBe) team within Engineering and Technology (E&T) supporting the Ground Systems Team which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge ground system capabilities for the F‑35 program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer Development Ground Systems - Level 4 you will be responsible for steering engineering execution, managing cost and schedule, and ensuring technical excellence across the F‑35 Ground Systems portfolio.

- Own day‑to‑day engineering execution for assigned programs, ensuring performance, cost, and schedule targets are met.
- Identify issues, risks, and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies to proactively manage technical challenges.
- Lead cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions across all Domain Excellence (DEx) teams.
- Serve as the prime technical point of contact for complex projects, driving issues to resolution and keeping leadership informed.
- Coordinate engineering scope across specialty teams, managing dependencies and integration risks.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
•Project Engineering / Project Management / Program Management and/or Technical experience
•EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and/or CAM (Control Account Management) experience
•Experience developing and managing project/program schedules (Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or similar)
•Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams
•Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Desired skills
•Experience with project performance and metric tools such as Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), OpenPlan and Tableau
•Experience with Risk and Opportunity management and systems such as ROADS
•Experience conducting or participating in Test Planning and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent presentation skills.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
