Job Summary
School Psychologists funded through Project REACH are members of school-based teams who promote prevention and early intervention through Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS). They fulfill all traditional MNPS School Psychologist responsibilities, including data-based decision making, assessment and eligibility determination, consultation, crisis prevention and intervention, and collaboration with families, educators, and administrators to support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs. In addition, Project REACH School Psychologists expand access to school-based mental health services in high-need schools, supporting systems-level practices, culturally responsive service delivery, and safe, supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and community. School Psychologists funded through Project REACH will serve in a 12-month position.
