DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the design, analysis, testing, integration, manufacturing, and fielding of various types of aircraft propulsion systems, including piston engines, propellers, fuel systems, oil systems, and related components
- Support and contribute to the completion of component, assembly, and system testing and analysis, documentation of findings, communicate results, and give technical presentations
- Assist in the completion of program deliverables such as component and assembly designs, test plans and reports, analysis documentation, and other deliverables to meet program objectives, requirements, and schedule
- Collaborate on new designs and assist the team with drawing package completion
- Troubleshoot various propulsion-related systems including piston, engine control systems, fuel systems, oil systems, propellers, and related components
- Review various manufacturing processes and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues
- Collaborate and effectively interact with peers, management, and other engineering disciplines on technical matters requiring communication and coordination to solve complex challenges
- Prepare and review engineering documentation for delivery to peers, technical staff, executive management, and customers
- Perform work either individually or in a team environment
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- May provide guidance and direction to design or technical staff
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Security Clearance required.
- Have excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to recognize roadblocks or issues and suggest an appropriate course of action for prevention or resolution.
- Experience working with Matlab and Simulink.
- Experience working with C, C++, or Arduino.
- Comfortability with interpreting and applying GD&T.
- Familiarity with developing control systems.
- A thirst for learning about new products and concepts.
- Able to adapt and react quickly to changes and challenges presented.
- Experience working with CREO, NX, and Teamcenter.
