Position Title: Provider Enablement Analytics Intern- Summer 2026

Job Description:

Location: Norfolk, VA

This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office

A Provider Enablement Analytics Intern will use advanced analytics and statistical methodology to do meaningful, hands-on work that supports real operational and clinical improvement efforts

How you will make an impact:

  • The Intern will contribute to provider enablement initiatives by evaluating program outcomes, quantifying performance opportunities, and building clear, actionable reporting that helps teams understand what’s working, what’s not, and where targeted changes can drive measurable impact.
  • The intern will gain exposure to real-world healthcare analytics—working with complex data, translating findings into insights, and partnering with stakeholders to enable decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 18th- August 7th).
  • Enrolled in an approved academic Graduate degree program in Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
  • For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Skilled in combining analytical rigor with practical problem solving.
  • Knowledge in SQL, Snowflake, Python, R, Teradata and SAS.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Be comfortable learning new tools and following documented processes.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
