JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Greets guests upon arrival, according to IHG standards.

1. Answers telephone communications, takes reservations.

1. Attends to special guests’ requests.

1. Promotes image of restaurant by displaying impeccable manners, diplomacy and tact towards restaurant/hotel guests.

1.  Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comment and other relevant information

1. Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests.

1. Follows the procedure on Cash handling and Bill presentation to guests.

1. Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships 

1. Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.

1. Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled.

1. Check to ensure that the Opentable System is running properly during and before service.

1. Ensure that all menus are checked and clean and inform manager if more menus are needed.

1. Greet every single guest with a warm welcome, in the appropriate area of entrance.

1. Help guests with the chair

1. Present an open menu to each guest and a clean wine list to every table.

1. During breakfast service, presents our breakfast menu and the 2 options buffet/a la carte and promote our buffet and mention the server’s name. 

1. Wish the guest a pleasant meal

1. Offer a parting comment as the guest exit the restaurant.

1. Performs duties noted on the daily tasks & cleaning schedule

1. Assists in the table cleaning and set up when available.

1. Perform other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.

The salary range for this role is $25.87 to $28.03 This is the lowest to highest pay scale we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
