- Fruit Preparation: Peel, core, slice, and dice fresh fruits while maintaining high aesthetic quality and eye appeal for packaging.
- Packaging & Labeling: Weigh, package, and accurately label items with the correct pricing and "use-by" dates.
- Inventory & Stocking: Check inventory daily, rotate products using the FIFO (first-in, first-out) method, and restock display cases with fresh items.
- Sanitation & Safety: Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines. This includes wearing appropriate protective equipment (like cut-resistant gloves) and continuously sanitizing work surfaces, knives, and equipment.
- Ability to use, or learn to use, knives, cutting equipment, scale printers, and packaging tools.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure uniformity in cut pieces and an appealing product presentation.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, perform continual physical tasks, and safely lift/carry up to 25 to 35 lbs.
- Basic math and communication skills to assist customers and follow departmental directions.
- MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY. 5am-8pm.
