A janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational condition of a building. Their core duties include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and stocking restrooms, emptying trash, and performing light building maintenance. They ensure a hygienic environment for occupants and visitors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Sanitation: Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms. Safely handling and applying cleaning chemicals.
• Waste Management: Collecting, separating (recycling), and disposing of trash and hazardous waste.
  
  Inventory Control: Monitoring and tracking cleaning supply inventory, placing orders when necessary. 
  
  
  
  Skills & Qualifications
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects or equipment.
  • Chemical Safety: Keen understanding of handling cleaning solutions, EPA-registered disinfectants, and biohazards.
  • Time Management: Capable of working autonomously while following strict cleaning schedules and checklists
