The Raw Material Coordinator contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages North America by ensuring raw materials are on-site and available for our production lines to run. They will provide direct support to the Manufacturing leaders and Supervisors ensuring timely delivery, receipt, organization and inventory of raw materials and ingredients.

  • Responsible for identifying the requirements of raw materials needed for the production facility and order accordingly
  • Working with raw materials suppliers in the following capacity:
  • Validate material forecast for the production facility
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, acting as a main point of contact
  • Address any quality or service issues with the suppliers directly utilizing our accountability tools
  • Conducting weekly count and reconciliation of all raw materials
  • Optimize the inventory levels to meet the business’ supply and demand
  • Learn the business to understand the real time demand
  • Lead the business’ innovation agenda by communicating details of new products to the Manufacturing and Warehouse leaders and frontline employees
  • Connecting with the frontline production teams to:
  • Monitor and communicate inventory levels and needs according to the daily production schedule
  • Receive direct feedback to communicate quality and service expectations up to suppliers
  • Complete APS transactions and all period end processes
  • Follow all GCS requirements
  • Support Quality team by completing document review to meet Food Safety and Food Defense requirements
  • Close each period with accurate financials
  • This role requires you to work on occasional weekends, and every period close.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $54,700 - $82,050.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • High School Diploma required
  • 2+ years inventory and purchase required
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment desired
  • Bachelors’ Degree (Supply Chain or Operations Management) preferred
  • SAP software knowledge desired
  • Knowledge of inventory control programs is preferred
  • Ability to work weekends as needed
  • Capability in Microsoft Office for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
  • Strong problem solving, adaptability, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work
  • Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical skills, including problem analysis and resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to gain alignment across multiple functions
  • Exceptional follow up and initiation ability
