You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas.%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3EWHO YOU ARE:%3Cbr%3EThe ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong event logistics and technical skills, and is dedicated to ensuring accessibility across all council operations.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWHAT YOU WILL DO:%3Cbr%3EThis position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of council initiatives by coordinating hybrid meetings, managing communications and outreach, processing travel and procurement, and acting as the primary liaison between the council, state partners, and the Governor’s Office. The RCT Coordinator (Planner II) performs routine (journey-level) planning, operational, and administrative work supporting the Rehabilitation Council of Texas (RCT). Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:%3Cbr%3E-Meeting %26amp; Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics for hybrid quarterly council meetings, committee meetings, strategic planning sessions, and Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment town halls. Provide live technology support during online/hybrid meetings, present verbal budget and travel reports to the council, and prepare official meeting minutes from audio/video recordings.%3Cbr%3E-Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and stakeholders. Coordinate meetings and collaborations with groups such as the Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) and communicate regularly with the Governor’s Office to facilitate, process, and track RCT member appointments.%3Cbr%3E-Communications %26amp; Outreach Management: Monitor, triage, and respond to all incoming RCT communications via email and phone, distributing pertinent information to council members. Organize logistics for RCT conference participation, ensure proposed conferences and activities are routed through proper approval channels, and represent the council by staffing exhibit tables at events as needed.%3Cbr%3E-Procurement %26amp; Accessibility Coordination: Process requisitions for all council operations, including office supplies, website expenses, and conference registrations. Champion accessibility by procuring and coordinating essential accommodations, including American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters and Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) services.%3Cbr%3E-Web Content Management: Manage, update, and maintain accurate information on the external RCT website (src-texas.org) as well as the internal RCT webpage on the TWC intranet site.%3Cbr%3E-Records %26amp; Travel Administration: Maintain official council files and records in compliance with retention schedules. Process all travel authorizations and expense reimbursement forms for RCT members in accordance with state travel guidelines.%3Cbr%3E-Annual Report Publication: Project manage the creation of the RCT Annual Report.
