Duties

Incumbent is responsible for program direction, planning, management, and administration of the real property inventory.,Carry out a variety of work assignments, prepare budget estimates, administration of real property contracts, and management and administration of computer-based real property inventory.,Resolve complex, unique, and routine realty problems associated with the United States Military Academy.,Direct and manage the technical preparation and update of the real property inventory.,Ensure that the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, revitalization, diversion, layaway, privatization, and disposal of real property assets are undertaken in accordance with applicable real property laws and regulations.,Respond to inquiries from Federal, State, and local governments, private sector, and the general public.,Prepare Installation real property responses to Congressional or Senate inquiries.,Direct the classification and analysis of real property to obtain its optional use.,Ensure compliance with space utilization guidelines and consistency with the efficient and effective use of space at the United States Military Academy.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Analyzing real property inventory records to validate the accuracy of acquisition, utilization, or disposal actions within automated accountability systems.2) Drafting real estate transaction documents, such as leases, permits, or licenses, to facilitate authorized land use agreements and property boundary updates. 3)Assessing facility utilization data to recommend optimal space allocations in alignment with tenant organizational objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
