Position Summary:
The Receiver is responsible for ensuring that North Fork Mono Casino is receiving the quality and quantity of merchandise ordered and that all outlets receive the products needed to give guests exemplary service. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will directly report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Properly rotate products in all freezers, storerooms and cold boxes.
- Deliver the proper product to the proper location.
- Verify that invoices are correct by checking them against purchase orders.
- Inspect delivered products.
- Sign and date and time stamp all invoices and purchase orders.
- Obtain signatures for all delivered products and assume responsibility for the products.
- Must be familiar with the location of the SDS booklet.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks.
- Know proper rotation procedures, including but not limited to first in / first out (FIFO) method.
- Must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively.
- Must have basic math skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as a receiver required.
- Forklift certification required or ability to acquire one (employer will provide upon hire).
- Valid California driver’s license and insurability required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
- Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of their shift.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack with or without assistance.
- Ability to use a hand truck.
Work Conditions:
Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically performed in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work is in a high volume, fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
