Responsibilities Center for Change is seeking a part-time Recovery Educator. About Center for Change Center for Change is seeking a part-time Recovery Educator to collaborate with the Center's multidisciplinary treatment team in providing care and resources to patients and their families in our Orem UT location. You will work with an amazing group of professionals including doctors, therapists, nurses and other support staff. Since 1996, the Center's philosophy on treating eating disorders focuses on providing patients with opportunities to explore and redevelop a healthy relationship with food, helping them eat intuitively according to hunger and fullness. Each patient at the Center receives individual counseling sessions with a therapist, dietitian, and medical professionals. The message that "hope is real" is woven into our entire treatment process. Responsibilities: The Recovery Educator bridges the gap between clinical treatment and practical application of life skills by providing didactic group education and interventions designed to support patients in recovery and in developing practical life-management skills necessary to recovery and relapse prevention. Helps measure the effectiveness of recovery-directed interventions and implements improvements so that the Center for Change can better serve the community and families.
