Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end candidate sourcing and initial screening, partnering closely with Senior Recruiters and hiring managers to fill open roles. The Recruiting Assistant will incorporate a blended sourcing approach and utilization of recruiting platforms to identify, assess, and match qualified talent, while maintaining accurate records in the ATS. They will ensure a positive candidate experience and support onboarding coordination, including background checks and I-9/identity verification documentation.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Source and screen candidates using a blended approach (job postings/ATS, referrals, internal talent, networking, and proactive outreach via sourcing tools and social platforms).
Utilize recruitment tools and platforms to identify, evaluate, and match qualified talent to existing job openings
Partnering with Sr. Recruiters to develop and execute role-specific sourcing strategies.
Manage and maintain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to ensure smooth recruitment processes.
Provide excellent customer service to candidates and hiring managers.
Document and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities.
Support candidate onboarding experience including tracking and maintaining background check records for all new hires.
Assist with managing and maintaining candidate I-9 and Identity Verification records.
Participate in weekly meetings including intake calls with Sr. Recruiters.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Required: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
Required: 1-3 years of experience in recruiting or a related role.
Excellent communication and people skills – ability to enthusiastically describe job opportunities to candidates
Strong understanding of how to engage top-talent using sourcing platforms and leveraging professional networks.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Knowledge of Legal Technology and AI as it pertains to legal software a plus
Preferred experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
