As a Silvi Materials Recruiter, you will have the opportunity to tap into the world of concrete and learn about the world’s most used building material, and what it is all about. By working alongside our talent attraction team, one will recruit and hire for an array of jobs and company departments!

So, what does Silvi Materials Recruiter do?  You'll be an integral part of our talent attraction team:

  • Job board management including data analytics and job descriptions.
  • Sourcing candidates from online job boards, career fairs, and partnership schools.
  • Review applications through applicant tracking software, i.e., ICIMS, and third-party resources, i.e., Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, ZipRecruiter.
  • Conducting phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
  • Working with hiring managers for candidate recommendations, submittals, and second interviews.
  • Writing job offers and verbally relaying to candidates.
  • Conducting employer information sessions and career fairs at universities, technical, and driving schools.
  • Assistance with administrative human resource tasks.
  • Responsible for the assisting the Human Resource Department with related tasks and activities.
  • Supports recruiting initiatives for the HR Team, by coordinating the administrative tasks associated with those activities.

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience in human resources or related field preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Thrives in a fast paced and high-volume environment.
  • Balancing multiple projects with ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ability to work 2-3 Saturdays a year.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel.
  • Capability to work well within a team atmosphere as well as independently.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

Physical Demands
In a typical work setting, people in this job:

  • Walk on uneven ground.
  • Stand/sit for long periods of time.
  • Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
  • See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
  • Determine from which direction a sound came.
  • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
  • Lift 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.
