Job Summary

The Recruiter position is responsible to successfully find outstanding candidates, both active and passive, and fill critical positions for the company, with a strong focus on Technical and IT roles. The Recruiter ensures that multi-state staffing requirements are met to source, identify, attract and onboard top talent to efficiently and effectively meet dynamic business needs. The role utilizes creative and proven methods of identifying candidates and works to fill roles in a timely manner to meet business needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position's sourcing requirements and develop strategies to identify talent.
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates primarily for IT, Technical, and specialized roles.
  • Be active in the community by attending job fairs and recruiting events as needed.
  • Review and understand technical job requirement needs.
  • Conduct initial phone screens, hold first interviews, and coordinate entire interview process.
  • Identify potential candidates through networking, web sourcing, social media, and leveraging referrals.
  • Support hiring managers as needed to open new job requisitions, create job descriptions, and complete onboarding tasks.
  • Review, track, and disposition candidates.
  • Maintain data and key recruiting metrics on each open position.
  • Provide hiring managers with compensation recommendations, conducting wage analysis and ensuring offers are competitive and equitable.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Participate in training and professional development for managers.
  • Coordinate and implement multi-state recruiting initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource to applicants regarding employment opportunities.
  • Review recruiting procedures and work as part of a team to recommend process improvements, cost savings, and customer service initiatives.
  • Other related duties as required and assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Travel Requirements

Travel Requirements:  Less than 25%

 

Education

Preferred: 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Some travel is required
