Job Title:  Recruitment Coordinator- Atlanta

Pay Grade: G

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Coordinator provides recruitment operations support with a primary responsibility for applicant screening, recruitment coordination, onboarding execution, and candidate experience management. This role serves as the first-level screening function by reviewing applicants against minimum job qualifications and forwarding qualified candidates to the Talent Acquisition Specialist for further evaluation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Applicant Screening & Recruitment Support

  • Screen applicants strictly against minimum qualifications.
  • Forward only qualified candidates to the Talent Acquisition Specialist for review.
  • Escalate borderline or unclear qualification cases to the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Maintain consistent and timely review of applicant pools within the ATS.

Candidate Experience & Communication

  • Provide routine communication to candidates regarding scheduling and onboarding steps.
  • Support a positive candidate experience throughout recruitment and onboarding.
  • Do not extend job offers or discuss compensation decisions.

Interview Coordination

  • Schedule interviews as needed, particularly when the Talent Acquisition Specialist is unavailable.
  • Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring panels.

Pre-Employment Processing

  • Conduct background checks, drug screenings, E-Verify, and Selective Service verification.
  • Initiate Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks when required.
  • Monitor screening results and notify appropriate parties of disqualifications or issues.

Onboarding & Systems Administration

  • Process new hires through UKG and onboarding systems.
  • Create onboarding tickets for IT to initiate system access and equipment setup.
  • Ensure onboarding steps are completed prior to employee start date.
  • Maintain accuracy of candidate and onboarding data within ATS/HR systems.

Recruitment Operations

  • Review Staffing Request tickets in ZenDesk and route for approval.
  • Maintain recruitment event supplies and swag inventory.
  • Maintain and distribute New Hire lists to appropriate stakeholders.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure accurate documentation of all recruitment and onboarding actions in HR systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with Workday

Experience using Microsoft Suite 

Previous experience with onboarding employees

Strong customer service skills

High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience performing human resources job-related functions; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level HR Tech 1 (HRT010) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
