Essential Function 1: Operate Recycling Machinery
Supporting Activities
● Startup and shutdown recycling equipment at the beginning and end of shifts, following all safety protocols.
● Monitor the machinery’s performance, adjusting as needed to maintain optimal efficiency.
● Conduct regular inspections to identify any malfunctions or wear and tear, reporting any significant issues to the maintenance
team promptly.
Essential Function 2: Material Handling and Preparation
Supporting Activities
● Sort and prepare plastic materials for processing, ensuring they are free from contaminants and sorted according to type.
● Load materials into processing equipment using appropriate tools and machinery, such as forklifts or conveyors, while adhering to
safety standards.
● Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure the input materials meet the required standards for recycling.

● Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly to minimize hazards and promote
efficiency.
Essential Function 4: Equipment Rental Services
Supporting Activities
• Set up, deliver, and pick up equipment for events and service requests.
• Maintain accurate rental logs, inventory records, and usage reports.
• Perform minor repairs and report damaged or missing items.
• Provide customer service assistance
Essential Function 5: Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machine operation preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Physically able to lift, move, and sort materials and equipment (up to 50lbs)
Desired Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in recycling, maintenance, or equipment operations
• Knowledge of waste sorting, recycling processes, or environmental safety practice
• Basic troubleshooting and minor repair skills
• Customer service experience when issuing or receiving rental items
• Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and completing reports
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays if needed.
• Demonstrates reliability, punctuality and work ethics
• Knowledge of waste sorting, recycling processes, or environmental safety practice
• Basic troubleshooting and minor repair skills
• Customer service experience when issuing or receiving rental items
