SUMMARY This position supports the NCM function within the Player Development Department. The successful candidate will display the ability to successful book and manage all cross-property events, and Independent Agent efforts for the market. Key responsibilities will include, building and maintaining post and pro formas, managing travel arrangements, providing communication to incoming and outgoing groups, and key departments at the properties, while providing outstanding customer service to all guests and team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all cross property and group events for the STL market.
- Assist in greeting arriving VIP guests on arrival to destination property.
- Communicates all necessary information regarding VIP groups arrivals and related programs to the property.
- Uses sound judgment and makes decisions in accordance with established comp and expense guidelines
- Maintains close ties with customers, independent agents, and player development leaders to develop loyalty.
- Anticipates, responds to and consistently meets or exceeds the needs of guests including, but not limited to, transportation and accommodation arrangements.
- Seamless coordination with Account Development team, New Business Team and employees throughout property (e.g. Credit, Gaming, Hotel, Food & Beverage, Transportation) to create successful delivery of pre-trip itinerary
- Proactively identifies and resolves service failures; taking immediate action to resolve service gaps and cement player loyalty and intent to return by using comp authority or making exceptions.
- Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and policies, and conducts themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty.
- Responsible for the P&L of the department and ensures proformas and postformas are maintained.
- Identifies ways to increase efficiencies and to improve products or services.
- Clearly communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business.
- Keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives.
- Must be knowledgeable of all happenings on property and in market.
- Stays up to date with the latest developments in both the local market and industry.
- Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
- Gives consistent, polite, timely, and accurate information and service to all guests; taking the initiative to find the answer when unsure.

High school diploma or GED required.
· Two to three years in gaming, marketing, hotel work or public relations required.
· Excellent interpersonal communication, team building and problem solving skills are required. Experience with casino tour, travel and National Casino Marketing programs preferred.
· The ability to calmly handle stressful situations and the willingness to work any day, any shift and long hours as required.
· Must be computer literate with software systems to include Microsoft Office applications and AS400, knowledge of the hotel reservations systems LMS a plus.
· Must have an understanding of PENN Play and the ability to analyze customer tracking.
· Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
· Must present a well-groomed appearance.

· Must be able to move in and around on the casino floor quickly.
· Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast paced environment.
· Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist and balance.
· Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
· Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
· Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
· Must be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized and detail oriented.
· Must have the dexterity and coordination to operate the following office equipment: computer, telephones, photocopier, 10 key adding machine, fax machine and typewriter
