About this role

Description

Wabash Center has a long history of serving individuals with disabilities and special needs. Our SOAR program is our newest clinical initiative designed to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder with the purpose of helping them reach their highest potential. The program emphasizes building social, communication, and life skills through 1:1 therapy and group interactions.

 

 

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) implements individualized ABA treatment plans for children enrolled in SOAR. This role works directly under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborates with the clinical team to deliver high-quality, outcome-driven therapy.

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans.
  • Accurately implement ABA strategies, data collection, and behavior intervention plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the SOAR team (BCBAs, clinicians, therapists).
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and positive learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with BACB RBT certification standards and Wabash Center policies.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professional ethics in all interactions.

Requirements

 

  • Active RBT certification.
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and/or relevant work experience
  • Meet background check requirements

This position is critical to the success and expansion of the SOAR program. The RBT will help ensure consistent delivery of ABA services that drive meaningful progress for children and their families.

 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. End time can vary. 

Requirements
