This position responsible for the preparation of food items and specialty dishes as designated by pre planned menus while displaying a strong commitment to customer service through the delivery of our service standards, safety procedures and standard operating procedures.
$27.68 Per Hour
Responsibilities
- Receives food orders and prepares according to desired request.
- Assures that presentation is timely and meets quality standards.
- Communicates to management the need for supplies and equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed.
- Assures quality production levels are maintained.
- Assists in the control of food and labor costs by eliminating waste and over production.
- May be required to rotate to various locations to relive cooks for breaks or call-outs.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in extreme heat, cold, humid and noisy environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum five years experience in different areas of kitchen preparation.
- Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job.
- Must be able to walk and stand during shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, pull and/or push up to 100 pounds
- Ability to grasp, hold, reach, bend, push-pull, stoop, twist, kneel and crouch.
