Position Summary

The successful applicants will assist in phlebotomy (drawing blood from human participants) and behavioral aspects of a funded research project in the Brainwaves Research Lab conducted in the mobile lab.

Essential Job Duties

  • Draw blood from human participants in research study – training in phlebotomy provided as needed

  • Process blood samples – training will be provided as needed

  • Administer behavioral assessments and questionnaires

  • Be able to work on some weekends

Conditions of Employment

  • Pre-employment Background Check and motor vehicle records check required.

  • Some weekend work required.

Supervision

  • N/A

Decision Making

  • When on a mobile lab session, be able to decide when they need to call one of the PIs for assistance if a challenge has been encountered

Minimum Qualification

  • BS in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or related field

  • Phlebotomy experience with human clients is required

  • At least one year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred
