Research Grant or Time-limited positions may be eligible for all, some, or no benefits, based on the grant or project funding.Position DescriptionAdvertised Job Summary    The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville is seeking to hire a Research Biostatistician. This position provides entry-level statistical and methodological support for clinical, educational, population health, and quality improvement research projects. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Research , the Research Biostatistician collaborates with investigators throughout the research process, including study design, data management, statistical analysis, interpretation of findings, and dissemination of results. The Research Biostatistician will contribute to educational initiatives that strengthen research skills among trainees and faculty.

Position Duties

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience    • Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications    • Master's degree with concentration in Biostatistics or Applied Statistics.• Graduate research assistantship experience in health sciences, public health, or biomedical research.• Experience using REDCap or similar research data management systems.• Familiarity with clinical, educational, or population health research.• Experience presenting research findings at professional meetings or contributing to scholarly publications.• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in academic medicine, public health, or research administration.
