Research in the Zhang laboratory centers on structure and pharmacology of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). %3C/span%3E%3Cspan style=%22color:windowtext;font-size:11.0pt;%22%3EThe position will investigate the allosteric modulation of GPCRs and to develop novel GPCR allosteric modulators. Approaches include GPCR expression and purification, cell-based signaling assays, and cryo-EM. The long-term goal is to translate mechanisms into novel therapeutics.
