Research Project Manager

Magee Womens Research Institute (MWRI) is the largest research institute in the US dedicated to women's health and reproductive biology.  Previous work experience in an academic research institution.

Manages all aspects of one or more projects for a research program and oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle. Provides leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects. Analyzes progress and/or performance and prepares reports. Ensures compliance with budget, scope, timeline, and regulations. Assists with external communications.

Manages and facilitates overall day-to-day research administration activities and operational functions. Maintains effective and efficient management of program activities.
    
Works effectively with the principal investigators and staff to execute multiple clinical trial study protocols. Communicates regularly with principal investigators and collaborators to review overall study progress.
   
Adheres to all protocol and regulatory requirements to ensure the validity of the clinical research data. Prepares and maintains study protocols and reports for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and sponsors.
    
Coordinates program events and logistics. Maintains deadlines.
   
Develops and implements program policies and procedures.
   
Monitors budget, allocation of resources, and budgetary adherence. Assists to prepare budget for approval.
    
Ensures team productivity; develops and leads improvements in team functioning as needed.
