This position plays a vital role contributing to personal outcomes of continuity and security for the people living at Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.

Job Duties:
- Work in the preparation, service, and sale of the food and beverages at the Canteen/Baker's Secret, as directed by the RSS 5/RSS 6
- Assist individuals, who are customers, with their purchase and the use of their money and to complete their time sheets and training sheets, making sure they are accurate.
- Be professional by maintaining a welcoming and friendly attitude toward all customers, both individuals and staff. Report any comments, concerns, or complaints immediately.
- Conduct cleaning and maintaining of the Canteen/Baker's Secret and all equipment daily.
- Assist with properly stacking and storing food and beverage items as they come into the Canteen/Baker's Secret, immediately report it to your RSS 5/RSS 6 when inventory becomes low.
- On holidays and Saturdays, be a lead staff, when no supervisor is present, by opening and closing the Canteen/Baker's Secret and insuring that all food is prepared and stored properly. Total and document all sales and money at the end of the shift, insuring all money is secure and locked away at the end of the shift.
- Ensure that the building is left in a clean and orderly condition at the end of the shift. Make sure all doors are secured at the end of the shift.
Position-Specific Details:
Location: Pinecrest Supports and Services Center – Employment Services
Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm Pass Days: Sat/Sun
Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, Detail to Special Duty or Job Appointment.
Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of:
Residential Services Specialist 1 - $12.15 hr. / $972.00 Biweekly
Residential Services Specialist 2 - $13.00 hr. / $1040.00 Biweekly
Career Progression Group: vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Residential Services Specialist 1 or 2 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant.
