Position Details:

Location: Mercy Coletta Cancer Center

Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week) 

Schedule: Business hours Monday-Friday

Overview:

The Manager-Clinical Programs is responsible for overseeing clinical programs, including leading multi-disciplinary teams that support the program, ensuring efficient resource utilization to meet productivity and financial goals. They work collaboratively with Leadership personnel, Physicians, and caregivers to enhance communication, share data, and improve processes across the continuum. This role ensures departments are appropriately staffed to meet patient care needs and is actively involved in patient experience and navigation, requiring collaboration with other departments within Mercy. The Manager-Clinical Programs sets professional standards, maintains a positive attitude, and engages caregivers to become leaders of change by providing support, mentorship, and guidance. They recognize caregivers both publicly and privately, connecting on a personal level, and hold care providers accountable for their professional responsibilities and adherence to regulatory guidelines. All duties are performed in alignment with the Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN).

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

  • Experience: 2 years of nursing experience.

  • License(s): Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

  • Certification: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
