What You'll Do
The Coordinator works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD) team in in the coordination and management of advanced heart failure patients who need or have an implanted VAD. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care to provide continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Provides direct patient care including education of patients and families regarding advanced
heart failure and VAD management.
What We're Looking For
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN.
- Experience: Minimum three years of clinical RN experience, required.
- Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse in NC or compact state, required.
- Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Demonstrates interdisciplinary leadership skills, superior interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of computer database, data analysis and presentation skills.
- ICU / Cardiac experience is required
- CCRN Preferred
